 The
EasyCard is a retrofit smart card reader which will be
connected to the DriveRight. With an EasyCard in the vehicle,
drivers must identify themselves using the EasyCard Smart
Card. The driver ID is then automatically entered into the
DriveRight, so the driver does not have to enter a code manually any
longer (and no mistakes can be made). In addition, if required, only
authorized drivers can use that specific vehicle because an
engine immobilizer is included as part of the product.
The EasyCard Manager (card programming device) gives the
Fleet Manager the possibility to set up a full system of driver
authorization. He can give a driver authorization for only one
vehicle, for a group of vehicles or for all vehicles.
Included is
the EasyCard Master Card, which can be used by the fleet
manager and the installer of the DriveRight to release the
immobilizer and all keys on the DriveRight monitor.
There are two
versions of the EasyCard Manager available, one using USB
and another using the Serial Port.
As the EasyCard is a retrofit product, and all currently used
DriveRight Trip 500AL's (VSS, GD and HD) and DriveRight 600's can
also be equipped with this accessory. DriveRight units need to be
sent to our workshop in the Netherlands. Because of this, we offer a
unique bonus: a complete overhaul of the DriveRight! When a
DriveRight has been used for a few years, some parts may need to be
replaced (like the connector cable, the window cover and some other
parts - battery not included). So you send in your "old" DriveRight
Trip 500AL's and gets back almost new ones including the EasyCard,
ready to use for many years again!
Note that the EasyCard
is only available through selected resellers - this product
cannot be bought from any other source.
Another big surprise is the price. We have
been able to keep the prices at a low level, just like all the other
DriveRight products. Note that the overhaul is included in the
retail prices mentioned below:
